Cho U's 4 by 4 Go Game offers an enjoyable experience suitable for players of all ages. Created by Cho U, a professional Go player, the application features problems categorized into four levels of difficulty, catering to both beginners and advanced players.
Set up for design: The stones are creatively designed as adorable black Cats or white Dogs. When in Atari, they transform to a scary expression, and surrounding your opponent's stones changes their expression to a happy smile. This feature adds an entertaining visual element to the gameplay. You also have the option to revert to the original stone face and can unlock new designs by purchasing additional problem sets.
Mode for Story: In this mode, players engage in games within a narrative involving a black cat. Through interactions with diverse dog characters, players can grasp the rules and techniques of Go naturally.
Mode for Study: Players can revisit and retry problems in this mode until they have a full understanding of each challenge.
Mode for Challenge: In this mode, players tackle ten problems and receive a score based on their time and the difficulty level of the puzzles. Performance data is displayed graphically, and rankings are available on the Game Center for iPad/iPhone to allow global competition with other players.
Mode for Non-Stop: Players can engage in continuous gameplay as long as life points remain unused and responses are within the time limit. Special effects for stone designs are awarded as players progress. As with the Challenge mode, global scoring and competition are facilitated through the Game Center on iPad/iPhone.
